We've worked with the traditional energy industry for many years. Recently, we've worked more with the wind, solar, and renewable energy industries. We developed Epoch technology, a lubricant that can extend the re-lubrication interval for wind turbine bearings from six months (standard) to about 4 years. Because many turbines are located in places where access is difficult, this innovative proudct has been a major breakthrough in the lubrication aspect of the renewable energy sector. It uses a non-polar thickener system so that all additives easily reach the metal surface of the bearings. This means that you need less additives, which improves the overall lubricating performance.
