We are pleased to welcome our new AXEL France Commercial Manager, Mr. Christophe Humbert. Christophe spent 23 years in Africa, including 15 years in an NGO, responsible for humanitarian projects and the installation of drinking water networks. He also set up a motorcycle tour operator in Africa. Christophe has two children, and he is currently based in Niort. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) from Cranfield University and a Masters in International Agro-Economic Engineering and Development from ISTOM. Christophe speaks four languages and will contribute to AXEL’s continued growth in Europe and Africa. We congratulate him and wish him the best of success!

We are pleased to welcome Alireza Askari as our new Food Grade Product Manager. He succeeds Zhaoying YU,  who has taken on new roles within the Group. Alireza worked at AXEL Christiernsson International AB from 2013 to 2019 and left for new challenges at Bakels Sweden AB. During the past four years, he has been responsible for the sales of bakery and confectionery ingredients in the Middle East and Central Asia, acquiring an in-depth understanding of the segment's needs.  
Alireza will be based at AXEL France (Niort) for 50% of his time and at Axel Christiernsson International (Nol) for 50%. We wish Alireza all the best in his new role!

As of February, Martine Corbinus has been appointed full-time account manager of technical sales. and is mainly in charge of French-speaking customers, Martine began her career at Christol Grease in September 1997 as an intern in the Sales/Customer Service department.  She will ensure the transition from her CS position until the recruitment of her replacement before the end of 2024. We wish her the best of success in her new role!
