New Roles and Team Members at AXEL

Junior Cobb assumed the role of Vice President of Operations for AXEL Americas overseeing our three plants in Rosedale, Tulsa and Schertz. Prior to this role, Junior was Plant Manager in Rosedale where he led the organization through aggressive growth and some challenging times. During his tenure, he helped manage the rebuilding of the plant after the fire in early 2016, developed a strong team, and facilitated rapid growth, while managing a significant level of added complexity in the business. Junior is a native of the Delta, having grown up in Cleveland, MS and earned a Masters of Natural Science Degree from nearby Delta State University. Junior and wife, Mary Susan, live in Tulsa with their daughter Sara Chesley and son Jax.

This innovative application system provides a series of advantages in terms of portability, flexibility, waste reduction and ease of application. The battery operated applicator has a compact and robust design that is lightweight, easy to use and thanks to the self-contained, plug-in bag system is safer and cleaner from a handling perspective too. A long tradition of environment and sustainability awareness and efforts.

The traditionally small bio-grease industry really only started moving with the implementation of the Swedish Standard (SS 155470) mainly in the Nordic countries. Then the US Vessel General Permit (VGP) followed, becoming the main growth driver focused primarily on products for the marine industry and then spreading into products for total loss applications. As EU Ecolabel grew, we accelerated the development of our two spearhead product technologies for marine and agriculture to build knowledge and experience in the process.
