July 15th, 2021 – Kansas, MO – AXEL, one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of lubricating greases in the US with its companies AXEL Americas and AXEL Royal, announced that it is proceeding with an additional expansion and improvement plan across its 3 plants in the USA.
HYCAL 762 EPEF is a modern high-performance EAL grease for diversified use. It has been developed for applications characterised by heavy loads and wet and corrosive conditions, where adhesion and water resistance are of high importance. In spite of its high base oil viscosity, the product can be used in centralised lubricating systems even at lower temperatures. Typical segments where the product can serve as a universal lubricant are forestry, agriculture, construction vehicles, and marine vessels.
Low temperature conditions can greatly reduce the flow properties of a lubricating grease, which in turn can result in inadequate lubrication, component damage and unexpected downtime. Therefore, whether your equipment is exposed to arctic conditions all year round or you just require additional reassurance during winter months, selecting a grease specifically developed to perform more effectively at lower temperatures will help support operational efficiency and reliability.
Through the use of functional thickening technology, AXEL developed Calsullence; a modern calcium sulphonate complex platform that combines high load carrying capability and excellent corrosion protection in a highly shear stable package. Its adhesive properties ensure excellent resistance to the effects of water ingress whilst also enabling a barrier against other external contaminants such as dirt and operational debris.
Noion is a groundbreaking thickener technology based on a polymer compound with an optimised crystalline amorphous balance. This polymer thickener consists of combinations of different polypropylenes and rubber, resulting in a non-ionic product with controlled oil separation.
